Prehistoric music

The reconstruction of instruments of which archaeology gives us some valuable remains is an invaluable contribution to our knowledge of prehistoric music. Ethnomusicology and “green music » are called to the rescue to allow children to experience a « live music » that allows the discovery of sounds, rhythms and control, and especially the development of a collective improvisation. This then gives rise to a recording in which the group participates and is given to the person in charge at the end of the workshop.

Pottery

Around 5000 BCE, people came from Central and Eastern Europe via the Danube to our areas. Those people brought the ceramic craft techniques to our regions. This workshop proposes participants to discover our history by making pots with the rolling technique and decorating them with Neolithic motifs, the so-called “band decorations” (with ribbon motifs).
